Requirements

Proven experience in commercial strategy, business planning and client coverage.
Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities and support commercial initiatives.
Experience working in cross-functional and international environments, coordinating multiple stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex information into strategic recommendations.
Fluent in English; Spanish is highly desirable.

About the job:

Key responsibilities:
Leading support for the definition, execution and monitoring of the sector strategy and business plan, identifying structural market trends and translating them into commercial opportunities, contributing to the achievement of commercial objectives and long-term business growth.
Leading support the update and follow-up of the sector strategic plan, drawing conclusions for decision-making and proposing corrective actions when necessary.
Drive the monitoring of commercial activity, Portfolio Alignment Plans, KPIs and other strategic initiatives within the Energy sector, while proactively identifying areas for growth, new client opportunities and strategic priorities.
Coordinate with Industry, Global Bankers, Product, Risk, Sustainability and other CIB teams to execute the commercial strategy and deliver integrated client solutions.
Develop differentiated sector views, market analyses and strategic insights across geographies, monitoring industry trends, ESG developments and relevant national and international news affecting the Energy sector.
Contribute to the commercial management of Energy clients by understanding their strategic priorities, identifying business opportunities and supporting client engagement.
Lead and actively contribute to client meetings, strategic discussions and commercial pitches, providing sector expertise and helping shape differentiated client solutions.
Lead the preparation of internal committees, sector reviews, client presentations, commercial proposals and strategic materials for senior management, clients and internal stakeholders.
Lead the development and maintenance sector databases, market intelligence and commercial information to support client coverage and business development.
Promote innovation, operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives within the sector and across the wider organization.
Coach and support the development of the Energy team, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing and the continued strengthening of sector and commercial expertise.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Global Head of Energy.
