Are you interested in participating in the development and deployment of new technology in the wind energy sector, working directly on international projects and the evolution of new wind turbine generations?

We are looking for a Technology Manager to join a long-term international project within the wind energy sector, collaborating closely with engineering, commissioning, operations, and international regions teams.

The role will be responsible for ensuring that new WTG (Wind Turbine Generator) developments align with the real installation and commissioning needs in the field, actively participating from the prototype phase through to industrial ramp-up.

What you'll do

Main duties:

  • Act as a liaison between engineering, operations, and installation/commissioning
  • Gather and relay technical and operational requirements during the development of new products
  • Participate in international technical meetings and follow up with stakeholders
  • Coordinate prototypes, mockups, and field tests
  • Lead lessons learned follow-up and implementation of improvements
  • Provide electrical/mechanical technical support during development, prototype, and ramp-up phases
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimization of installation and commissioning processes
  • Participate in technical visits and international travel to factories, regional offices, and installation sites

How you'll work

The position is remote, although it will require availability for frequent international travel during certain project phases, especially during prototype, validation, and industrial ramp-up stages.

Requirements

  • Mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Previous experience in industrial/wind energy environments managing multidisciplinary technical projects
  • Background in installation, commissioning, site management, or similar field environments
  • Good level of English (daily international environment)
  • Self-sufficient, organized profile with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
  • Availability for recurring international travel depending on the project phase.

Valuable:

  • Experience in the wind energy sector
  • Knowledge of tools such as Teamcenter, SAP, AutoCAD, MS Project
  • German or Portuguese
