About the role

Then our Index Operations team wants to hear from you! We are an agile and international team responsible for the daily maintenance, reviews, and quality assurance of SIX's equity and fixed income indices. By ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of indices used as benchmarks for financial products worldwide, we play a key role in supporting global financial markets. In this role, you will work closely with Product Management, IT, Index Sales, and clients in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

What you'll do
- Responsible for the management and maintenance of all SIX and custom equity and fixed income indices, with a primary focus on SIX Spanish indices.
- Participate in Production, Corporate Actions, and Index Review shift rotations, including the coordination of ongoing index changes.
- Determine index constituents and weightings as part of the periodic review process.
- Provide incident management support and 2nd level operational support.
- Implement index changes across relevant applications and systems.
- Ensure compliance with Working Instructions, Index Governance requirements, and the Controls Framework.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational quality, process stability, and efficiency, including the execution of Business Acceptance Testing (BAT).
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration or any related field. Studies related with the financial sector or Capital Markets will be a plus.
- 1st working experience in the financial sector, preferable in operational, middle-office or back-office areas.
- Ability to perform under pressure, manage priorities effectively and able to work independently with a well-organized and self-driven personality.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Excellent Spanish and English communication skills; German will be an advantage.
- Strong Excel and Python skills for data analysis, automation, and operational support.
