About the role

We are looking to bring on board a Senior MuleSoft Developer with solid experience in the various solutions within the MuleSoft ecosystem. This role will be part of our development teams, collaborating on the construction of integration and data solutions of the highest functional and technical quality for our clients.

If you are passionate about designing and implementing robust, scalable, high-performance solutions, and want to work in a dynamic environment where your technical expertise truly matters, this challenge is for you.

What you'll do

  • Design MuleSoft integration architectures under the API-Led Connectivity approach, aligned with each client's technical and business objectives.
  • Implement high-quality technical solutions, ensuring compliance with the functional and non-functional requirements defined for each project.
  • Oversee the integration of APIs and Mule flows, ensuring proper connectivity between systems, as well as their security, scalability, and performance.
  • Actively participate in development teams under agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), contributing to planning, estimation, and continuous delivery.
  • Collaborate on quality processes: code peer reviews, technical documentation, and the definition of standards and governance best practices on Anypoint Platform.
  • Support and/or lead the technical design of integrations: API contracts, data mappings, error handling strategies, and resilience.
  • Document APIs and reusable assets using Anypoint Exchange and MuleSoft design tools.
  • Interact directly with clients, gathering requirements, communicating progress, and providing business-oriented solutions.
  • Maintain and support existing solutions: debugging, performance optimization, and improving observability.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in API and integration development (implementation, testing, hardening).
  • Proficiency in MuleSoft Studio, DataWeave, MUnit, API Manager, and Anypoint Exchange.
  • Experience in designing and managing the API lifecycle under the API-Led Connectivity approach.
  • Knowledge of RAML and/or OAS (OpenAPI) for API design and documentation.
  • Experience integrating with heterogeneous systems: REST, SOAP, JDBC, (S)FTP, JMS, CRMs, and ERPs.
  • Knowledge of security: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, mTLS, and the use of security policies in MuleSoft.
  • Proficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, code quality practices, and troubleshooting in runtime environments.
  • Experience with asynchronous integrations, MuleSoft VM queues, messaging queues (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus)...
  • Review of observability in Anypoint Monitoring, CloudHub logs, and the use of observability tools such as Elastic, Azure Monitor, Datadog...
  • Ability to self-manage: effective task organization, proactive follow-up, and delivery without constant supervision.
  • Client communication skills: active listening, presenting solutions, and managing expectations.
    • Experience in technical leadership: ability to guide and supervise other team members, conduct code reviews, define technical standards, and serve as a reference for junior and mid-level profiles.
  • Education: University degree in Engineering, Big Data, or a related field.
  • Languages: Minimum B1 level of English.

Nice to have

  • A proactive attitude, a desire to learn, and to grow professionally within a demanding and constantly evolving technical team.
  • Official MuleSoft certifications: MuleSoft Certified Developer (Level 1 or 2), MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect.
  • Experience with Anypoint Platform in the cloud: CloudHub 1.0/2.0, Runtime Fabric, hybrid deployments.
  • Experience with cloud providers: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of advanced integration patterns: ESB, Event-Driven Architecture.
  • Use of containers and orchestration: Kubernetes.
