About the role

At Dia, we want to bring on board a Buyer in the Real Estate and Procurement Department. The selected candidate will join with the aim of managing purchases assigned to construction and maintenance projects, meeting the strategic objectives set and the purchasing budget.

What you'll do

Their duties will be:

  • Search for suppliers and carry out their approval according to the company's standards and guidelines.

  • Negotiate products in the categories within their remit using the indirect purchasing procedure established in the company, driving new ideas, initiatives, or products.

  • Define the necessary logistics in coordination with those responsible for each of the departments involved.

  • Manage their dossiers and drive potential savings together with the requester.

  • Monitor the negotiation (RFI/RFQ/RFP) and payments to suppliers, using the established tool (SAP Ariba) for online negotiation/auction.

  • Communicate the negotiation outcome and request approval at the established committees, as well as to the supplier and internal client.

  • Complete the contract with the supplier, the terms documentation, and the closing of negotiations in the purchasing tools.

  • Coordinate with the rest of the procurement team to provide complete solutions to internal clients (equipment, image, machinery, refrigeration, logistics, etc.).

  • Coordinate with the areas involved (operations, technical, commercial, marketing) the execution of campaigns and projects.

  • Monitor KPIs and objectives.
