Project Specialist (Transport & Logistics)

At our DSV Madrid branch, we are looking to hire a Project Specialist to take part in projects focused on optimisation and continuous improvement within our network of terminals and logistics operations.

Your main mission will be to analyse, design and implement operational improvements that help streamline processes, workflows and resources, contributing to the efficiency and competitiveness of our operations.

• Analyse and improve terminal processes and cross-docking operations.
• Design and optimise terminal and warehouse layouts.
• Conduct capacity studies, operational flow analyses and resource planning.
• Analyse productivity indicators and operational KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement projects focused on operational efficiency.
• Standardise processes and methodologies across different terminals.
• Combine data analysis and fieldwork to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Work closely with operational teams to ensure proper execution of projects.

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Organisation, Logistics or a related field.
• Intermediate level of English (B1)
• Experience in logistics operations, terminals or cross-dock warehouses, focused on projects and continuous improvement.
• Previous experience in warehouse, transport or logistics environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel.
• Knowledge of Power BI and Lean methodologies will be valued.

En nuestra delegación de DSV Road Madrid buscamos incorporar un/a Project Specialist para participar en proyectos de optimización y mejora continua dentro de nuestra red de terminales y operaciones logísticas.

Su principal misión será analizar, diseñar e implementar mejoras operativas que permitan optimizar procesos, recursos y flujos de trabajo, contribuyendo a la eficiencia y competitividad de nuestras operaciones.

• Analizar y mejorar procesos operativos de terminal y operaciones de cross-docking.
• Diseñar y optimizar layouts de terminales y almacenes.
• Realizar estudios de capacidad, flujos operativos y dimensionamiento de recursos.
• Analizar indicadores de productividad y KPIs operativos para identificar oportunidades de mejora.
• Desarrollar e implementar proyectos de mejora continua orientados a la eficiencia operativa.
• Estandarizar procesos y metodologías entre diferentes terminales.
• Combinar análisis de datos y trabajo de campo para identificar oportunidades de optimización.
• Colaborar estrechamente con los equipos operativos para garantizar una correcta ejecución de los proyectos.

• Grado en Ingeniería Industrial, Organización Industrial, Logística o similar.
• Nivel medio de inglés (B1)
• Experiencia en operaciones logísticas, terminales o almacenes cross-dock, orientada a proyectos y mejora continua.
• Experiencia previa en entornos de almacén, transporte o logística.
• Manejo de AutoCAD y Excel.
• Se valorarán conocimientos de Power BI y metodologías Lean.
