About the role

Boost your career at a company that powers the energy of the future

At Enagás, we have spent more than 50 years guaranteeing something essential: the energy that connects people. Our purpose is clear: to move towards a cleaner, more sustainable and more efficient energy model, driving projects that transform the future.

We have an opening for a scholarship holder/intern in the Entrepreneurship and Open Innovation Management unit, part of the Business Development Division, at our Madrid office (Pº de los Olmos), for someone who wants to be part of a project with real impact. We are looking for a person with technical and financial knowledge, an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset, analytical skills and a focus on continuous improvement, and with the drive to learn and advance the energy transition.

What you'll do

What will your role be as an Entrepreneurship and Open Innovation scholarship holder? 🎯

You will join the Enagás Emprende team, Enagás' Entrepreneurship and Corporate Venture initiative through which we promote and support startups and entrepreneurial projects, having invested in or promoted 20 companies and 2 investment funds since the start of the activity. Specifically, you will join the team responsible for Enagás' relationship with the entrepreneurial ecosystem made up of corporations, investors, institutions and, of course, entrepreneurs; as well as for the origination and initial technical and strategic analysis of investment opportunities or support for startups or entrepreneurial projects, both internal and external to the company, and for communicating the activity and fostering the entrepreneurial spirit within the company. You will work on the process of originating and analysing all the startups we identify whose technical or business solution proposals are aligned with our strategy, in collaboration with a whole team and various Enagás business units, reviewing their use case for Enagás as well as their competitive advantages from a technical, business or market point of view.

  • Carrying out analysis of entrepreneurial projects and startups

  • Preparing technical and economic project evaluation reports

  • Monitoring activities in the entrepreneurial ecosystem

  • Providing support in organising internal dissemination and external communication activities

  • Tracking the funnel of internal, external and cross-cutting entrepreneurial projects using digital tools.

  • General support for Enagás Emprende in reporting, presentations, contracting activities, etc.

Education & certifications

  • University degree, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Energy or Industrial Engineering...

  • C1 level of English
