QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN - Atomic Absorption – Pharmaceutical Industry

Reporting to the Manager of Elemental Impurities of the Chemistry Department, the main duties will include:

What you'll do

  • Analysis for quality control of company products by Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AA, AAGF, CVAA, ICP/OES and ICP/MS)
  • Method setup
  • Method validation and/or transfer studies
  • Performing and supervising calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Preparation of reports.
  • Management of information generated in the laboratory through LIMS

How you'll work

  • Immediate start.
  • Afternoon shift: 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM
  • Substitution contract with strong possibilities of becoming permanent.

Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Chemical Sciences.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar position in the pharmaceutical industry or related field.
  • Experience in other techniques (pH, spectrophotometry, HPLC, GC, UV, dissolution testing, etc.) will be valued.
  • Experience in method validation (preparation of protocols and reports) will be valued.
  • Experience working in a GMP/GLP environment will be valued.
  • Accustomed to working in a team and focused on objectives.
  • High level of English
  • Availability to work the afternoon shift, from 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM, and one Saturday per month.
