About the role

Are you eager to strengthen your Artificial Intelligence (AI), Automation, Data Analytics, and Digital Transformation skills? Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing is looking for an AI & Automation Intern to join the Central Information Technology (IT) Solutions team based in Barcelona, Spain.

What you'll do

Develop and implement AI agents using Microsoft Copilot and related technologies. You will improve AI knowledge bases using internal documentation and operational procedures and support the creation of AI-driven knowledge management and self-service solutions.

Contribute to automation and digital transformation initiatives that simplify business processes and improve efficiency across Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing laboratories in Europe.

Analyse and structure data to generate actionable insights, support reporting and trend analysis, and help drive data-based decisions.

Support cross-functional projects with teams across Europe and contribute to process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.

Nice to have

Technical Knowledge: Exposure to data analytics, automation, and AI technology (e.g., Python, SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, and Microsoft Power Platform & system integrations) is a plus.

Education & certifications

Education: Currently enrolled in a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Software Engineering, Automation, or any related fields.

Languages

Languages: Professional proficiency in English is required. Any additional languages are a plus.

How you'll work

As part of your role, you will support impactful projects supporting scientists, laboratory professionals, and IT teams across multiple countries. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills alongside experienced IT professionals and play an active role in the digital transformation of a global network of laboratories.

Contract type: End-of-study internship. 

Start date: October - November 2026.

Duration: 6 months.
