About the role

We are looking for a Quality, Environment and Occupational Risk Prevention Technician for a metal sector company located in Ourense. The selected person will carry out the following functions:

  • Manage and monitor the Quality, Environment and OPR system of the facility.
  • Control compliance with procedures, work instructions and internal quality requirements.
  • Monitor non-conformities, incidents and complaints, analyzing causes and coordinating corrective and preventive actions.
  • Participate in the definition and monitoring of continuous improvement plans.
  • Prepare and participate in internal and external audits, as well as monitor the resulting actions.
  • Control indicators and prepare documentation and records associated with management systems.
  • Supervise compliance with environmental requirements applicable to the activity: waste management, chemicals, consumption and other environmental aspects.
  • Coordinate and monitor activities related to Occupational Risk Prevention.
  • Collaborate in risk assessments, preventive planning, investigation of accidents and incidents, and monitoring of corrective measures.
  • Manage the Coordination of Business Activities (CBA) and preventive documentation.
  • Provide or coordinate training, information and awareness actions on quality, environment and safety.
  • Among other tasks specific to the job position.

Education & certifications

  • University or technical education related to Engineering, Quality, Environment, Occupational Risk Prevention or similar.

Languages

  • Fluent in spoken and written Spanish.
  • Knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Quality and Environment management systems.
  • Valuable experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
  • Previous experience in similar positions, preferably in industrial environments.
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify causes and propose practical solutions.
  • Organized, rigorous, resourceful person with the ability to work transversally with different departments.
  • Residence near the workplace is valued.
