About the role

Producing plastic parts using raw material injection machines or carrying out component assembly and large-sized valves, ensuring 100% compliance with quality controls on them

What you'll do

  1. Production Assembly and Operation:

    • Assemble components of large-sized valves and other plastic/mechanical elements according to manufacturing standards.

    • Perform auxiliary tasks of the injection process as required by the part: machine picking, sprue cutting, deburring, milling, machining, and pre-assemblies.

    • Verify the finished product 100% before packaging.

    • Fit and place the finished product on pallets according to operating instructions.

  2. Autonomous Maintenance and Reporting:

    • Comply with plant production standards and methodologies: 5S, SMED, and Autonomous Maintenance (simple cleaning, lubrication, and inspection tasks).

    • Report manufactured parts, defective parts, and machine stoppages to the computer system.

    • Immediately notify the Shift Supervisor of any anomaly or breakdown in machines, peripherals, or equipment.

  3. Risk Prevention, Quality, and Environment:

    • Ensure compliance with Quality, Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP), and Environmental procedures and instructions.

    • Correctly use the tools, machinery, and provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

    • Carry out the segregation and proper treatment of plastic and general waste generated at the workstation.

    • Keep the work environment clean and tidy, and propose ideas for continuous improvement.

  • Availability: Availability to work rotating Morning and Afternoon shifts is essential.
