- Staff supervision and training: providing training and guidance to new employees.
Monitoring staff performance to identify areas for improvement.
Implementing mentoring programmes to ensure knowledge transfer.
Compiling and reporting on lessons learnt on a weekly basis.
Ensuring the correct execution of manufacturing processes by working with the quality team to anticipate potential execution failures.
Improving and implementing new procedures to reduce the defect rate.
Identifying individuals who require support from an experienced mentor. - Incident management: being available to address technical or production incidents.
Collaborating with other departments (engineering, quality, etc.) to resolve issues.
Document and analyse incidents to implement improvements.
Create and manage quality notices. - Continuous process improvement: analyse production data to identify areas for improvement in terms of cost vs. benefit, as well as promote investment in resources to drive production growth.
Propose and implement process changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Participate in continuous improvement projects within the factory. - Communication and reporting: communicate any problems or delays to managers and other relevant departments.
Attend production meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
