QA Engineer

At Itequia we continue to grow and are looking to bring a QA Engineer on board to join our digital solutions development team.

You will work alongside developers, Product Owners, and business analysts, ensuring the quality of web, mobile, and backend applications, participating both in manual testing and in the evolution of our automation processes.

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.

• Create test plans, test cases, and validation scenarios.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Validate APIs, backend services, and integrations between systems.

• Analyze B2B business flows and ensure they work correctly.

• Identify, document, and track incidents and defects.

• Write testing documentation using Gherkin methodology.

• Collaborate closely with development, product, and business teams.

• Participate in the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and strategies.

• Contribute to the growth of automation within our projects.

• At least 2 years of experience in a QA role.

• Experience in test documentation, requirements analysis, and test cycle planning.

• Experience testing web, backend, and mobile applications.

• Knowledge of test automation or a strong interest in developing in this area. You will use tools such as Playwright and Appium.

• Knowledge of API and backend testing (Postman, Bruno, or similar)

• Basic knowledge of CI/CD and automation pipelines.

• A person with an interest in quality best practices and the ability to solve complex problems.

• Fluent English (B2) and native Spanish

En Itequia seguimos creciendo y buscamos incorporar un/a QA Engineer para unirse a nuestro equipo de desarrollo de soluciones digitales.

Trabajarás junto a desarrolladores, Product Owners y analistas de negocio garantizando la calidad de aplicaciones web, móviles y backend, participando tanto en testing manual como en la evolución de nuestros procesos de automatización.

• Diseñar, ejecutar y mantener casos de prueba manuales y automatizados.

• Elaborar planes de prueba, casos de prueba y escenarios de validación.

• Realizar pruebas funcionales, de regresión, integración y end-to-end.

• Validar APIs, servicios backend e integraciones entre sistemas.

• Analizar flujos de negocio B2B y garantizar su correcto funcionamiento.

• Identificar, documentar y realizar seguimiento de incidencias y defectos.

• Redactar documentación de testing utilizando metodología Gherkin.

• Colaborar estrechamente con equipos de desarrollo, producto y negocio.

• Participar en la mejora continua de procesos, herramientas y estrategias de QA.

• Contribuir al crecimiento de la automatización dentro de nuestros proyectos.

• Al menos 2 años de experiencia en un rol de QA.

• Experiencia en documentación de pruebas, análisis de requisitos y planificación de ciclos de testing.

• Experiencia en pruebas de aplicaciones web, backend y móviles.

• Conocimientos en automatización de pruebas o fuerte interés por desarrollarse en este ámbito. Utilizarás herramientas como Playwright y Appium.

• Conocimiento en testing de APIs y backend (Postman, Bruno o similares)

• Conocimientos básicos de CI/CD y pipelines de automatización.

• Persona con interés por las buenas prácticas de calidad y con capacidad de resolver problemas complejos.

• Nivel fluido de inglés (B2) y nivel nativo de español
