Keysight Design Engineering Software (DES) has an exciting opportunity for an individual with an entrepreneurial, business mind-set to drive M&A efforts. DES is a leading supplier of design engineering software for the EDA, CAE, optical, data management, and software engineering quality markets, and is looking for the right individual to drive the business M&A efforts

What you'll do

  • Developing and managing a pipeline of strategic and technology acquisition targets.
  • Evaluating potential opportunities and supporting them throughout the M&A process.
  • Defining acquisition criteria and working with business units to understand their strategic and technology needs.
  • Collaborating with technical and business teams to assess and support diligence efforts for prospects, as well as shape the opportunities to support the DES business level strategy.
  • Working with senior leadership to develop business models and present business cases.
  • Driving market and business intelligence efforts to identify industry trends and opportunities that can support M&A activities.

Education & certifications

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
  • A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

  • Strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
