Lead the Data-Driven Transformation of our Supply Chain!

At Leroy Merlin Spain, we are reinventing our Supply Chain, building a planned, industrialized, centralized, and data-driven system. We are looking for a Supply Chain Optimization Planner to be the engine of this new process, connecting strategy, data, and operational execution. If you are passionate about advanced analytics, thrive on solving complex problems in a high-visibility environment, and want to orchestrate the end-to-end product flow, this is your transformative project!

What you'll do

You will be the driver of integrated planning, ensuring that planned volumes are executable and efficient across the entire chain:

  • Planning Leadership: You will lead mid and short-term planning (Sales & Operations Execution), utilizing and optimizing machine learning tools.

  • Optimization and Algorithms: You will oversee, parameterize, and propose improvements to the tools and algorithms that define supply volumes and transportation needs.

  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: You will ensure planning integrates Demand Planning sales plans and coordinate the necessary receiving capacity at distribution centers and stores.

  • Transportation Efficiency: You will work closely with the Transportation team to improve the positioning and flow to warehouses, overseeing maximum load and the efficiency of our transport.

  • Strategic Impact: Your role will be key in connecting strategy, data, and execution, facilitating visibility of the product flow from supplier to end customer.

If what you value most is...

  • Learning and Development: You will work with real data in a complex logistics network, learning about inventory management and Supply Chain at a leading retailer.

  • Visible Impact: You will see how your decisions directly improve customer experience, product availability, and logistics costs.

  • Teamwork: You will collaborate with multiple departments and act as the connection point between strategy, data, and operations.

  • Close and Human Culture: You will work in an environment that fosters autonomy, continuous improvement, and collaboration.

What we're looking for

This challenge is for you if...

  • You have a solid Higher Education Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar fields, enabling you to tackle problems with a rigorous analytical methodology.

  • You bring 3 to 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, with a focus on planning, optimization, and/or specialized consulting within the supply chain.

  • You have proven experience in data analysis and management, with proficiency in SQL and analytical languages such as Python being highly valued.

  • You are motivated by network strategy (network design) and have a strong ability to lead projects transversally, collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

What you'll get

  • Impactful Onboarding: You will receive a complete immersion into our Supply Chain strategy and logistics network to understand the product flow from origin to customer.

  • Professional Development: Opportunity to lead strategic projects in a Data-Driven environment, with access to ongoing training in analytics and inventory management tools.

  • Flexibility and Work-Life Balance: Enjoy the comfort of hybrid work (2 days of telecommuting per week) and flexible hours that facilitate your personal and professional balance.

  • Wellness Benefits: Access to private health insurance and health and wellness programs designed to take care of you.

  • Share Ownership and Flexible Compensation: We offer you the possibility to be part of the company's success through our share ownership and flexible compensation plans.

Your analytical and strategic vision will be the key to making our logistics network operate with maximum precision. If you are ready to transform data into decisions that directly impact customer satisfaction and the sustainability of our operations... we are looking for you!
