Strong knowledge of global indirect tax regulations.
Solid understanding of international e-commerce taxation, marketplace rules, and global e-invoicing and real-time reporting requirements.
Hands-on experience with major ERP platforms and tax automation solutions such as Avalara.
Advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong attention to detail.
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to independently lead complex projects while collaborating effectively across international teams.
Fluent English is essential.

🌍 What You'll Do
📑 Global Indirect Tax Compliance & Audits
- Lead the preparation, review, and timely filing of global VAT, GST, and support US Sales & Use Tax returns.
- Manage relationships and deliverables with external tax advisors worldwide.
- Ensure accurate monthly and quarterly reconciliations between tax filings and the general ledger.
- Coordinate responses to indirect tax audits, tax authority inquiries, and regulatory notices, mitigating potential tax risks.
- Monitor global indirect tax legislation, including nexus thresholds and rate changes, assessing business impact and ensuring ongoing compliance.
🚀 Lead Strategic Indirect Tax Projects
🧾 E-Invoicing & Digital Reporting
Take ownership of the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of global e-invoicing compliance frameworks and Continuous Transaction Controls (CTCs), ensuring the business stays ahead of evolving digital reporting requirements.
🌍 Non-Resident VAT Refunds
Manage the end-to-end process for non-resident VAT refund claims, including EU 13th Directive and similar international mechanisms, ensuring timely submissions, accurate documentation, and maximum tax recovery.
🛒 Marketplace Operations
Support the business in navigating indirect tax complexities across e-commerce, cross-border transactions, and marketplace facilitator/operator regulations.
⚙️ Systems & Automation
Partner with IT and Finance Systems teams to optimize tax determination engines such as Avalara and Thomson Reuters OneSource, as well as ERP configurations including Workday, driving efficiency through technology and automation.
📈 Process Improvement & Risk Advisory
- Continuously evaluate and enhance indirect tax processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and minimize risk.
- Provide practical and commercially focused tax guidance to internal stakeholders across Legal, Procurement, Sales, and Supply Chain.
- Identify tax risks and opportunities for process optimization and tax planning.
- Maintain and enhance internal tax compliance policies, operating procedures, and control documentation.
