About the Role

The Area Manager will be responsible for managing between 3 and 5 supermarkets; each Supermarket Manager will report directly to them, indirectly leading the entire operational structure of each center. They report to the Sales Director.
This is a position with a high level of autonomy and trust, where the company offers flexibility for time organization and priority management, always oriented towards achieving objectives.
In their day-to-day work, the person will be responsible for coordinating store openings and closings, as well as planning their own routes and agenda, ensuring an effective presence across the various points of sale.

Functions:

• Planning the structure of each store (team sizing, shifts, and operational needs).
• Active participation in selection processes.
• Monitoring and development of the team through continuous training, evaluations, and one-to-one meetings.
• Support in talent management and work environment.
• Analysis and monitoring of the profit and loss (P&L) account of each supermarket.
• Monitoring of operational and commercial KPIs, ensuring the achievement of objectives.
• Supervision of daily store operations, including:
• Cash flow (cash management)
• Logistics flow (procurement, stock, replenishment)
• Guarantee of correct implementation of commercial policies and visual merchandising, ensuring compliance with company standards (product placement, promotions, endcaps, etc.).

This is a highly transversal role, with a direct impact on results, operations, and team development, key to ensuring operational excellence at the points of sale.
