Planning and Logistics Manager (M/F/X)

We are looking for a Logistics Efficiency & Planning Manager (M/F/X) to join a leading industrial plant, where you will play a key role in the supply chain transformation, driving logistics efficiency, digitalization, and operational excellence.

What will your mission be?

You will be responsible for optimizing logistics and planning processes, ensuring material availability, warehouse efficiency, and the achievement of production targets, always under Food Safety, Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health and Safety standards.

What will your main responsibilities be?

Continuous improvement

  • Lead the implementation of Lean Supply Chain tools.
  • Design, monitor, and analyze logistics KPIs.
  • Identify improvement opportunities through root cause analysis.
  • Define standard operating procedures (SOPs) and standardize processes.
  • Lead digitalization and continuous improvement projects.
  • Train and support teams in the implementation of new processes.

Planning

  • Analyze the plant's production capacity.
  • Develop viable production plans based on resource availability.
  • Coordinate planning with the different departments.
  • Participate in planning and logistics committees.
  • Ensure the follow-up of material release in coordination with the Quality department.

Materials management

  • Supervise the supply of raw materials.
  • Manage material requirements using MRP.
  • Control supply risks.
  • Manage quality issues related to materials.
  • Control blocked, soon-to-expire, or expired materials.

Leadership and collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain and Production departments.
