At Marlex People, we are looking for you! We are collaborating with an important company in the industrial sector that needs to hire a Quality Operator - Quality Inspector to work on-site and provide support to the administrative area of Quality Assurance.

What you'll do

Inspect, verify, and control the quality of the production process at the different manufacturing stages and of the final product.

Perform quality checks following established procedures and Control Plans.

Perform statistical checks and different laboratory tests, such as packaging measurements, weight, porosity, or resistance.

Detect and classify critical, major, and minor defects.

Hold and identify products that do not meet quality or safety standards.

Communicate any incidents detected during the shift to the relevant supervisor.

Monitor and control selected materials and held products.

Participate in identifying opportunities to improve quality processes.

Collaborate with production staff in the control and selection processes.

Advise and remind staff of product specifications and established quality criteria.

Report during shift changes on incidents, production completed, work in progress, held products, and priorities.

Maintain and update records and documentation related to quality control.

Compile, review, organize, and archive records generated during the production process.

Provide support in completing and maintaining quality databases.

Manage documentation related to held products, production controls, waste, and incidents.

Provide support in the document management of non-conformities and quality records.

Prepare and organize documentation, production orders, records, and schedules related to the quality area.

Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department on administrative and document tracking tasks.

Comply with Safety, Health, Quality, and Environmental Management regulations.

Properly use PPE and the equipment and tools required to carry out the activity.

Ensure compliance with product hygiene and safety procedures.

Keeping the workstation clean and tidy.
