What you'll do

As Maitre, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the activities and services of a hotel F&B outlet (restaurant, lounge, room service, etc.) in the hotel's ongoing effort to provide exceptional guest service and financial profitability. 

  • Manage daily operations, ensuring the processes and procedures related to product preparation, quality and service, and compliance with brand standards. 
  • Organize, coordinate, and assign the activities, tasks, and shifts of restaurant staff. 
  • Supervise the service provided by all members of the F&B team across all areas under your responsibility.   
  • Ensure that team members are knowledgeable about and deliver the different products and services available in the hotel restaurant. 
  • Ensure that all information communicated by the hotel's internal commercial department is correctly received and executed by the F&B team.  
  • Work with the relevant manager on menu planning in accordance with the company's quality criteria.  
  • Supervise the setup of hotel rooms for event organization, arranging room layouts based on information provided by the commercial department. 
  • Maintain direct and frequent contact with guests to ensure their expectations are met. 
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of regular guests by paying attention to their preferences. 
  • Manage and monitor guest feedback, suggestions, and complaints, creating and executing action plans. 
  • Develop and implement procedures to manage the quality of F&B areas. 
  • Identify opportunities to increase F&B Department revenue through upselling.  
  • Control expenses in all areas under your responsibility and participate in preparing the department's annual budget. 
  • Recruit, interview, and train team members.
  • Supervise, review, and recognize the performance and development of team members.  
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and alcohol awareness standards. 

What we're looking for

  • At least 2-3 years of F&B supervisory experience performing similar roles in other hotel chains or related industries.
  • Vocational training in hospitality/F&B. 
  • Fluency in the local language is essential, with English knowledge highly valued.  
  • Practical knowledge of various software programs (Microsoft Office, TMS, etc.) and the POS system.  
  • Results-oriented and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • High level of commercial knowledge and sales ability.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively.
