Technical Office Engineer and Commissioning

Reporting to the Maintenance Operations Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

Creating Procedures from Scratch: Drafting, structuring, and documenting (with photographic and technical support) operational procedures (OPLs) and general maintenance procedures for the new plant.

Consolidating the LOTO System: Designing LOTO lockout/tagout sheets and protocols (electrical, gas, etc.) by analyzing schematics and machinery alongside plant technicians.

Technical Interpretation and Diagrams: Reading and understanding electrical and mechanical schematics, P&ID diagrams, and manufacturer manuals to translate that information into clear work instructions.

Structuring the Maintenance Plan: Supporting the definition of the legal and industrial maintenance plan (preventive/manufacturer-recommended) and integrating documentation within the department.

Multidisciplinary Support (HSE and Automation): Collaborating on an ad-hoc basis with the Health, Safety, and Environment and Automation departments to standardize technical processes.

International Liaison (English): Dealing with international suppliers to consult technical documentation, machinery manuals, and obtain ad-hoc support.

Education: Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Ability to interpret technical schematics (electrical, mechanical, and P&ID diagrams).

Knowledge of AutoCAD.

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and fluency in drafting structured technical documentation.

Position open to Junior profiles (internships in industrial environments, technical offices, or maintenance will be positively valued).

Knowledge of or familiarity with LOTO lockout/tagout regulations/systems.

Understanding of standardization methodologies (OPLs, 5S, continuous improvement).

Interest in occupational risk prevention (HSE) and industrial automation.

Attention to detail, ability to structure information, and technical rigor.

Eagerness to learn, willingness to go down to the plant floor, and work hand-in-hand with technicians and engineers.

Reportando a Dirección de Operaciones de Mantenimiento las principales funciones son:

Creación de Procedimientos desde Cero: Redactar, estructurar y documentar (con apoyo fotográfico y técnico) los procedimientos operativos (OPLs) y de mantenimiento general para la nueva planta.

Consolidación del Sistema LOTO: Diseñar las fichas y protocolos de consignación LOTO (eléctrico, gas, etc.) analizando los esquemas y la maquinaria junto a los técnicos de planta.

Interpretación Técnica y Diagramas: Leer y comprender esquemas eléctricos, mecánicos, diagramas P&ID y manuales de fabricantes para traducir esa información en instrucciones claras de trabajo.

Estructuración del Plan de Mantenimiento: Apoyar en la definición del plan de mantenimiento legal e industrial (preventivo/recomendado por fabricantes) e integrar la documentación en el área.

Soporte Multidisciplinar (HSE y Automatización): Colaborar puntualmente con los departamentos de Prevención/Medio Ambiente y Automatización en la estandarización de procesos técnicos.

Interlocución Internacional (Inglés): Tratar con proveedores internacionales para la consulta de documentación técnica, manuales de maquinaria y soporte puntual.

Formación Ingeniería Mecánica / Eléctrica o similar.

Capacidad para interpretar esquemas técnicos (eléctricos, mecánicos y diagramas P&ID).

Conocimientos Autocad.

Manejo del paquete Office (Word, Excel) y soltura en la redacción de documentación técnica estructurada.

Posición abierta a perfiles Junior (se valorará positivamente haber realizado prácticas en entornos industriales, oficina técnica o mantenimiento).

Conocimiento o familiaridad con la normativa/sistema de consignación LOTO.

Nociones sobre metodología de estandarización (OPLs, 5S, mejora continua).

Interés por la prevención de riesgos laborales (HSE) y la automatización industrial.

Gusto por el detalle, la estructuración de información y el rigor técnico.

Ganas de aprender, bajar a planta y trabajar mano a mano con los técnicos e ingenieros.

Capacidad para traducir complejidad técnica en instrucciones sencillas y visuales.
