Plastic Profile Extrusion Machine Operator

Do you have experience as an extrusion machine operator? At Randstad, we are looking for a technical profile that combines manual skill (assembly and cleaning) with analytical ability (parameter adjustment and quality control) to ensure efficient and safe production.

1. Preparation and Technical Setup

Before starting production, the operator must configure the line according to technical requirements:

Assembly: Installation of specific tooling (nozzles, calibrators, etc.).

Adjustment: Calibration of critical variables such as temperature, pressure, and speed.

Start-up: Commissioning until material stability is achieved.

1. Process and Quality Control

Once running, the goal is to maintain stability and precision:

Active supervision: Constant monitoring to correct defects (bubbles, deformations, or variations).

Metrology: Use of measuring tools (gauges, projectors) to ensure the profile meets customer tolerances.

Documentation: Recording production data and managing traceability (batches).

1. Maintenance and Work Environment

The operator is the first person responsible for the condition of their equipment and area:

Preventive Maintenance: Cleaning of heads, filter changes, and basic lubrication.

Safety and Order: Application of the 5S methodology, mandatory use of PPE, and responsible management of chemical waste.

• Previous experience working with rigid or flexible PVC
• Own vehicle.

• Salary of €28,000 to €34,000 gross per year
• Permanent contract directly on the company payroll

EUR 28,000–34,000 per year

• Full-time schedule from Monday to Friday
• Rotating shifts: morning, afternoon, and night.

1. Preparación y Configuración Técnica

Antes de iniciar la producción, el operador debe configurar la línea según los requisitos técnicos:

Montaje: Instalación de utillajes específicos (boquillas, calibradores, etc.).

Ajuste: Calibración de variables críticas como temperatura, presión y velocidad.

Arranque: Puesta en marcha hasta lograr la estabilidad del material.

1. Control de Proceso y Calidad

Una vez en marcha, el objetivo es mantener la estabilidad y precisión:

Supervisión activa: Monitoreo constante para corregir defectos (burbujas, deformaciones o variaciones).

Metrología: Uso de herramientas de medición (calibres, proyectores) para asegurar que el perfil cumple con las tolerancias del cliente.

Documentación: Registro de datos de producción y gestión de trazabilidad (lotes).

1. Mantenimiento y Entorno de Trabajo

El operador es el primer responsable del estado de su equipo y su área:

Mantenimiento Preventivo: Limpieza de cabezales, cambio de filtros y engrase básico.

Seguridad y Orden: Aplicación de la metodología 5S, uso obligatorio de EPIs y gestión responsable de residuos químicos.

• Experiencia previa trabajando con PVC's rigidos o blandos
• Vehiculo propio.

• Salario de 28k a 34k brutos anuales
