About the role

We are looking to add a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to our team for our specialized repair center.

We do not require previous experience in the railway sector; what we truly value is your passion for mechanics, your technical ability to disassemble, repair, and reassemble complex equipment, and your experience in industrial environments. If you have skill with hand tools, knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, or mechanical repair (vehicles, machinery, or industrial maintenance) and are looking for a dynamic workshop role with real impact on final product quality, we want to meet you!

What you'll do

  • Disassembly and diagnosis: Complete disassembly of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and components to assess their condition.
  • Repair and reconditioning: Identifying faults, replacing damaged or worn components (gaskets, hoses, sealing elements, fasteners) and preparing surfaces/parts.
  • Final assembly: Full reassembly of systems and equipment following technical procedures and ensuring proper operation.
  • Verification and adjustment: Ongoing use of hand, measuring, and adjustment tools (torque wrenches, tightening tools, test fixtures).
  • Quality and procedures: Compliance with safety, quality, and inspection standards throughout the repair process.

What we're looking for

  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in mechanical maintenance, machinery repair, automotive, or industrial/metal maintenance environments.
  • Technical skills: Knowledge and proficiency in general mechanics; experience with hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems is highly valued.
  • Tool usage: Proficiency with workshop hand tools, precision tooling, and tightening tools (torque wrenches, drills, screwdrivers, etc.).
  • Profile: Ability to interpret procedures, methodical approach to disassembly and reassembly order, and a focus on repair quality.

What you'll get

  • Professional stability: Joining a leading company in the industrial sector with a high workload.
  • Development and learning: Initial training on the specific product and the opportunity to strengthen skills in applied hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Specialized workshop environment: A dynamic and technical role, far from the monotony of a mass production line.
  • Competitive conditions: Salary according to the Metal Industry Collective Agreement / Professional category and a structured shift schedule.
