Thermal Vacuum Test Technician (TVAC)

1. Preparation and Integration:

• Act as the technical liaison with the client to define and write test procedures.
• Integrate high-value space hardware in the vacuum chamber using cranes and precision systems (MGSE). Instrument the equipment with thermocouples, heaters, and cabling to ensure perfect monitoring.
• Work to guarantee maximum purity under strict cleanroom protocols.

1. Execution and Control of TVAC Tests:

• Operate vacuum and cryogenic systems to simulate the extreme conditions of deep space (-150°C to +150°C).
• Monitor thermal and pressure data in real time during continuous test campaigns (24/7 shifts).
• Detect anomalies, manage alarms, and coordinate critical decisions as a team with Quality and the client.

1. Reporting and Continuous Improvement:

• Prepare final technical reports and manage the documentation for each test.
• Ensure the chamber is always ready by performing preventive and corrective maintenance on the facilities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and actively participate in the development of new and better test methods.

Bachelor's degree or higher technical degree in Electronics or similar fields.

Knowledge of vacuum and cryogenic systems.

Previous experience in laboratory environments or testing.

B2 level of English.

Valuable:

• Experience in space testing (TVAC, ECSS).
• Knowledge of programming or test automation.
• Proficiency with data acquisition systems.

Fixed-term contract for 6 months, extendable for another 6 months, with real possibilities of permanent employment in a leading company in the sector.

1. Preparación e Integración:

• Actuar como enlace técnico con el cliente para definir y redactar los procedimientos de ensayo.
• Integrar hardware espacial de alto valor en la cámara de vacío utilizando grúas y sistemas de precisión (MGSE). Instrumentar el equipo con termopares, calentadores y cableado para asegurar una monitorización perfecta.
• Trabajar garantizando la máxima pureza bajo estrictos protocolos de sala blanca (Cleanroom).

1. Ejecución y Control de Ensayos (TVAC)

• Operar sistemas de vacío y criogénicos para simular las condiciones extremas del espacio profundo (-150 °C a +150 °C).
• Monitorizar datos térmicos y de presión en tiempo real durante campañas de prueba continuas (en turnos 24/7).
• Detectar anomalías, gestionar alarmas y coordinar decisiones críticas en equipo con Calidad y el cliente.

1. Reporte y Mejora Continua:

• Elaborar los informes técnicos finales y gestionar la documentación de cada prueba.
• Asegurar que la cámara esté siempre lista realizando el mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo de las instalaciones.
• Coordinar con proveedores y participar activamente en el desarrollo de nuevos y mejores medios de ensayo.

Ingeniería superior o Ingeniería técnica en electrónica o similares

Conocimientos en sistemas de vacío y criogenia.

Experiencia previa en entornos de laboratorio o ensayos.

Inglés B2 a nivel técnico.

Valorable:

• Experiencia en ensayos espaciales (TVAC, ECSS).
• Conocimientos de programación o automatización de ensayos.
• Manejo de sistemas de adquisición de datos.

Contrato temporal de 6 meses prorrogable a 6 meses con posibilidades reales de incorporación en empresa puntera en el sector.
