About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to temporarily join our client's team in Madrid for a period of approximately 6 to 8 weeks, to cover a paternity leave.

The person will be responsible for providing first and second level technical support to the company's users in Europe, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and providing support during the onboarding of new employees.

What you'll do

Main responsibilities

  • Providing technical support to users both on-site and remotely.
  • Configuration, installation, and maintenance of computer equipment (laptops and desktops).
  • Management of user accounts, password resets, and support in Active Directory.
  • Support for Microsoft Office 365, Okta, and other corporate applications.
  • Resolution of incidents related to hardware, software, network, Wi-Fi, and printers.
  • Preparation and delivery of equipment for new hires.
  • Support in inventory management and IT asset management.
  • Logging, managing, and closing incidents while ensuring proper user attention.
  • Collaborating with the global IT team when necessary.

What we're looking for

Requirements

  • Vocational Training (Higher Degree) in Computer Science, Systems, or similar, or equivalent experience.
  • Between 2 and 4 years of experience in technical support (Help Desk, Desktop Support, or IT Support).
  • Required: High level of Spanish and English (C1).

Knowledge of:

  • Windows
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Active Directory
  • Networking and basic connectivity
  • Equipment configuration and resolution of hardware and software incidents
  • Good communication skills and a user-oriented approach.
  • Availability to work on-site in Madrid.
