DUCTWORKER / INSTALLER

Responsibilities:

• Duct fabrication

  • Fabricate custom ducts using fiberglass panels according to blueprints and technical specifications.

  • Prepare, cut, and assemble the panels, ensuring quality and proper duct fit.

• Measurement and layout

  • Measure spaces, pipes, and installation areas to ensure ducts fit correctly.

  • Lay out sheet metal ducts to adjust to dimensions and routes according to blueprints and actual building conditions.

• Assembly and installation

  • Install fiberglass or sheet metal ducts in homes, buildings, and other spaces, ensuring proper alignment, leveling, and fastening.

  • Connect ducts to HVAC equipment and ventilation systems in compliance with technical standards.

• Quality control and finishing

  • Inspect the correct installation and sealing of ducts to prevent air leaks or seepage.

  • Make necessary adjustments to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the system.

• Safety compliance

  • Apply all occupational safety and material handling measures during fabrication and installation.

  • Keep work areas clean and organized, minimizing the risk of accidents.

CONDUCTERO-A/ MONTADOR-A

Funciones:

• Fabricación de conductos

  • Elaborar conductos a medida utilizando paneles de fibra de vidrio según planos y especificaciones técnicas.

  • Preparar, cortar y ensamblar los paneles garantizando la calidad y el ajuste correcto del conducto.

• Medición y replanteo

  • Medir espacios, tuberías y áreas de instalación para asegurar que los conductos se adapten correctamente.

  • Replantear conductos de chapa para ajustar a dimensiones y trayectorias según los planos y condiciones reales del edificio.

• Montaje e instalación

  • Instalar conductos de fibra de vidrio o chapa en viviendas, edificios y otros espacios, asegurando alineación, nivelación y sujeción adecuada.

  • Conectar conductos a equipos de climatización y sistemas de ventilación cumpliendo con las normas técnicas.

• Control de calidad y acabado

  • Revisar la correcta instalación y sellado de los conductos para evitar pérdidas de aire o filtraciones.

  • Realizar ajustes necesarios para garantizar un funcionamiento eficiente y seguro del sistema.

• Cumplimiento de seguridad

  • Aplicar todas las medidas de seguridad laboral y manejo de materiales durante la fabricación e instalación.

  • Mantener las áreas de trabajo limpias y ordenadas, minimizando riesgos de accidentes.
