The Position
The Patient Journey Partner (PJP) is a hybrid role whose objective is to represent
Roche to the customer and be the point of reference in the North zone in the
ophthalmology area.
They are responsible for identifying and anticipating the needs of customer-patients to
be able to co-create and develop comprehensive solutions together with various stakeholders, aligned with Roche's priorities and strategy, that benefit the greatest number of
patients as soon as possible.
Reports to the Area Leader of the North zone and will be responsible for centers in
Asturias, Lugo, and A Coruña in the Ophthalmology areas.
Main Responsibilities
● Scientific knowledge in the areas of ophthalmology and the competition.
● Roche's point of reference for the medical community and other stakeholders
leveraging available channels, adapting the virtual means provided by the company and used by their customers.
● Responsible for gathering insights from both the medical community and various
stakeholders, contributing and sharing possible solutions to their needs.
● Providing information both within their region and to different teams, marketing, medical teams, and cross-functional teams involved in their pathology.
● Quantitative and qualitative analysis of therapeutic markets.
● Working together with the HealthCare System Partners of the area and various
access stakeholders to ensure and guarantee rapid access for patients.
● Establishing scientific collaborations with Regional Societies and Patient Associations, acting in continuous collaboration with the Patient Access
Partner.
● Active role in Symposia and Scientific-professional Meetings. Providing
briefing to speakers of scientific events.
● Supporting healthcare professionals in requests for compassionate use within their ecosystem, if necessary.
Requirements
● University degree.
● Upper-Intermediate English essential (B2-C1)
● Residency in Asturias
● Knowledge of Clinical Trial processes and procedures will be valued
● MD, PharmD or PhD relevant to the therapeutic domain (valued)
● MBA / Relevant Business or market access (valued)
● Understanding of clinical practice; knowledge in the implementation and
monitoring of clinical trials (valued)
● Experience in managing TAEs and external organizations (scientific
societies and patient organizations) (valued)

El Patient Journey Partner (PJP) es un rol híbrido cuyo objetivo es representar a

Principales Responsabilidades
● Conocimiento científico en las áreas de oftalmología y de la competencia.
● Persona de referencia de Roche con la comunidad médica y otros stakeholders
aprovechando los canales disponibles, adaptando los medios virtuales que le
proporciona la compañía y que utilizan sus clientes.
● Responsable de recoger los insights, tanto de la comunidad médica como de los
distintos stakeholders, aportando y compartiendo posibles soluciones a sus
necesidades.
● Proporcionar información, tanto dentro de su región como a los diferentes
equipos, marketing, los equipos médicos y cross funcionales implicados en su
patología.
● Análisis cuantitativos y cualitativos de los mercados terapéuticos.
● Trabajar, junto con los HealthCare System Partners de la zona y con los distintos
stakeholders de acceso para asegurar y garantizar un acceso rápido a los
pacientes.
● Establecer colaboraciones científicas con Sociedades y Asociaciones de
Pacientes Regionales, actuando en continua colaboración con el Patient Access
Partner.
● Rol activo en Simposios y Reuniones Científico-profesionales. Proporcionar
briefing a los speakers de eventos científicos.
● Dar soporte a los profesionales sanitarios en las solicitudes de usos compasivos

Requisitos
● Licenciatura superior.
● Inglés Medio-Alto imprescindible (B2-C1)
● Residencia en Asturias
● Se valorará conocimiento en procesos y procedimientos de Ensayos Clínicos
● MD, PharmD o PhD relevante para el dominio terapéutico (valorable)
● MBA / Negocio relevante o acceso al mercado (valorable)
● Comprensión de la práctica clínica; conocimiento en la implementación y
seguimiento de ensayos clínicos (valorable)
● Experiencia en gestión de TAEs y organizaciones externas (sociedades
