We are looking for a Conversational Linguist AI - Data & AI based in Madrid.

What you'll do

In this role, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Design and evolve end-to-end conversational flows
  • Define and maintain the bank's conversational voice across multiple channels.
  • Write, curate, and optimize responses for clarity, empathy, brevity, and effectiveness.
  • Structure dialogues considering pragmatics, coherence, context, and turn-taking.
  • Collaborate actively with AI/NLP/LLM teams to improve comprehension and generation.
  • Design and review linguistic prompts, templates, and guardrails in LLM/RAG solutions.
  • Analyze real conversations to identify friction points, misunderstandings, and prioritized improvements.
  • Contribute to and govern taxonomies of intents, labels, and conversational ontologies.
  • Measure linguistic impact on KPIs: containment, FCR, CSAT/NPS, clarity, and resolution time.
  • Train and advise internal teams on conversational design best practices.

  • Experience with chatbots/voicebots in customer service.

  • Degree in Linguistics, Philology, Communication, Translation, Psychology, or Digital Humanities.
