Santander Asset Management is looking for a Sales Manager based in Northern Spain (Cantabria, Asturias, and the Basque Country).

Your mission will be to drive business growth by promoting and commercializing investment products and solutions, strengthening relationships with the commercial network, and maximizing business opportunities in the assigned territory.

What you'll do

In this role, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing the asset manager's commercial plan in Cantabria, Asturias, and the Basque Country.

  • Promoting and commercializing investment products (funds, managed portfolios, alternative products, and other solutions) through the bank's network.

  • Acting as the direct point of contact with regional managers and business teams to identify opportunities and align strategies.

  • Training and supporting commercial teams on financial products and markets.

  • Participating in meetings with end clients and commercial events.

  • Tracking commercial targets, analyzing results, and proposing corrective actions.

  • Identifying growth opportunities and developing commercial initiatives.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales roles within the financial sector, preferably in asset management or private banking. (Required)

Languages

  • Native or bilingual Spanish.

  • Intermediate/advanced English level.

  • Basic regulatory knowledge (MiFID II).

  • Advanced proficiency in office tools (Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI or others).
