THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

Fundación Banco Santander is looking for a Press and PR Coordinator based in Santander.

Reporting to the Communications and External Relations Department, the Press and Public Relations Coordinator will be the face and voice of Faro Santander before the media and collaborators. Their work will involve managing these relationships, as well as creating and coordinating the materials needed to give visibility, locally and internationally, to everything happening at Faro Santander.

In this role, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Relationships with media outlets at the local, national, and international level.
  • Writing, sending, and following up on press releases.
  • Managing interviews and feature stories.
  • Preparing press kits and other press materials.
  • Designing and preparing press events.
  • Monitoring and measuring impact.
  • Hiring and coordinating agencies.
  • Alliances and Collaborations

  • Identifying, contacting, and coordinating collaborations with media/strategic profiles/influencers.
  • Internal communications – coordination with internal teams.
  • External relations and protocol

  • PR and protocol.
  • Hiring and coordinating PR agencies.
  • Coordinating and assisting with press trips.

  • Written and spoken proficiency in Spanish and English (Required).
  • English is essential: the coordinator will work with international media and collaborate with Faro Santander's partner institutions on the co-production of projects and content (Required).
