Mechanical Installations Engineer

At Sener we wish to add to our team a Mechanical Installations Engineer at our Barcelona workplace.

We shorten distances with sustainable and innovative solutions in infrastructure, transport and mobility, where we carry out comprehensive engineering projects. Many urban transport and high-speed rail systems feature our technology and design, as do intelligent road transport systems (ITS), airports, ports, hydraulic engineering and architecture around the world.

MEP installations are an important part of a project, since they largely establish the comfort, habitability and operating conditions of the projects.

At Sener Mobility we understand that these installations are not merely systems that accompany projects, but rather their design must be considered from the start of the project, achieving comfortable, effective, efficient integration and its consequent optimisation; using BIM methodology at all times.

• Lead the design and calculation of mechanical installations in international infrastructure projects.  

• Ensure compliance with the requirements of the specifications. 

• Manage the technical and economic aspects of the scope, providing support to the Project Director. 

• Prepare cost estimates during the bidding phase. 
   

What we expect from you:

• Higher industrial engineering degree and more than 10 years of experience in mechanical installations. 

• Bring experience in rail, port and airport installations, as well as in unique buildings. 

• Knowledge of national regulations (CTE, RS CIEI, RITE, REB, etc.) and international regulations (NFPA, ASHRAE, CIBSE, IPC, NPC, IEC, IEEE, etc.). 

• Availability to travel. 

• High level of English (B2 or above). 
  
  

• Experience in developing projects using BIM methodology. 
  Having a sustainability certificate (LEED, BREEAM, etc.) and training in energy efficiency is positively valued.

En Sener deseamos incorporar en nuestro equipo a un/a Ingeniero/a de Instalaciones mecánicas en nuestro centro de trabajo de Barcelona.

Acortamos distancias con soluciones sostenibles e innovadoras en infraestructuras, transporte y movilidad, donde realizamos proyectos integrales de ingeniería. Muchos sistemas de transporte urbano y de alta velocidad ferroviaria llevan nuestra tecnología y diseño, así como sistemas de transporte inteligente de carreteras (ITS), aeropuertos, puertos, ingeniería hidráulica y arquitectura de todo el mundo.

Las instalaciones MEP forman parte importante de un proyecto, puesto que establecen, en gran medida, las condiciones de confortabilidad, habitabilidad y funcionamiento de los proyectos.

En Sener Mobility entendemos que dichas instalaciones, no son sólo sistemas que acompañan a los proyectos, sino que su diseño debe estar contemplado desde el comienzo del proyecto, realizando una integración confortable, eficaz, eficiente y su consecuente optimización; utilizando en todo momento la metodología BIM.

• Liderar el diseño y cálculo de las instalaciones mecánicas en proyectos internacionales de infraestructuras.  

• Asegurar el cumplimiento de los requisitos del pliego. 

• Gestionar la parte técnica y económica del alcance dando apoyo al Director de Proyecto. 

• Preparar las estimaciones de costes en fase de oferta. 
   

Qué esperamos de ti:

• Ingeniería industrial superior y más de 10 años de experiencia en instalaciones mecánicas. 

• Aportar experiencia en instalaciones ferroviarias, portuarias y aeroportuarias, así como en edificación singular. 

• Conocimientos en normativa nacional (CTE, RS CIEI, RITE, REB, etc. ) y en normativa internacional (NFPA, ASHRAE, CIBSE, IPC, NPC, IEC, IEEE, etc.). 

• Disponibilidad para viajar. 

• Nivel alto de inglés (B2 o superior). 
  
  

• Experiencia en el desarrollo de proyectos mediante metodología BIM. 
  Se valora de manera positiva disponer de un certificado de sostenibilidad (LEED, BREEAM, etc.) y formación en eficiencia energética.
