About the role

We would like to add a Project Supervisor to our HOME market, responsible for ensuring the installation of electrical components and equipment in accordance with quality standards.

What you'll do

Areas of responsibility: 

• Technically correct execution of electrical installation work.

• Quality and updating of documentation for the installation of electrical components (installation records).

• Carrying out a study of the Project conditions in terms of time and required resources, collaborating with the Project Manager for Client approval of the Work Plan.

Main duties:

• Reviewing the material required for the execution of the Work, before it begins.

• Launching and carrying out the work.

• Carrying out the project layout/setting out.

• Adapting the drawings to the actual site conditions.

• Attending meetings with the client or technical support and their superior.

• Controlling the application and compliance with Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental Plans.

• Controlling and collecting data on the final status of the installations.

• Supporting the coordination of personnel by Subcontractors and Siemens R.A. staff.

• Managing and coordinating the subcontractors present on site, in relation to the work carried out, quality control, and taking measurements to certify the work.

• Support in management related to Work Teams.

• Making requests to the Client, Technical Support and/or the installation operator for commissioning or other needs.

• Negotiating and approving changes that may arise on the Work within the spending limits established by Siemens R.A. and always with the express authorization of their superior.

• Preparing follow-up reports.

• Preparing meeting minutes that reflect the agreements established.

• Managing and controlling the legal documentation required to start the work (Health and Safety Plan, application for opening of work centers, prior notice, etc.).

• Supporting the project manager in risk and claims management, detecting and evaluating risks and opportunities related to the project and, where appropriate, developing suggestions to minimize risks and take advantage of opportunities.

What we're looking for

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in a railway signaling company as a Site Manager.

• Technical knowledge of signaling systems with experience in national projects (international experience will be valued).

• Experience in global interaction with clients/partners/suppliers from multiple countries.

• Degree in Engineering or vocational training in electronics (FPII) or similar.

• Soft Skills, Competencies and other requirements

• Customer orientation.

• Results orientation.

• English level B2, spoken and written.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Availability to travel, with willingness to work at night and on weekends.
