Social Educator at the First Reception and Comprehensive Care Service for Young People, Baix Camp (Tarragona)

We are looking for a Social Educator for the First Reception and Comprehensive Care Service for Young People, located in Hospitalet de l'Infant.

Role duties:

• To promote conditions that guarantee the reception of children and adolescents in an environment of affection, understanding, and emotional and material security.

• To cover the basic needs of children and adolescents (education, food, emotional needs, hygiene, health, psychological needs, etc.) and to especially address those that are unmet due to their situation of vulnerability.

• To observe children and adolescents comprehensively in emotional, relational, behavioral, habit-related, etc. aspects, in order to get to know them and understand them, and subsequently develop their Individual Educational Plan (IEP).

• To act reflectively based on observation and the established IEP, in order to achieve the comprehensive development of the child/adolescent.

• To be the reference social educator or key worker, having the necessary information about the child and adolescent.

What do you need?

• Completed degree in Social Education.

• Experience in youth care is valued.

• Possession of a valid driver's license. 

• Certificate of no sex offenses.

• Proactivity, communication skills, and teamwork skills. 

• Holding a disability certificate of 33% or more will be valued.

• Job offer: Sick leave (IT) and maternity leave (Baixa maternitat) coverage, approximately from May 2027.

• Schedule: 35 hours/week.

• Working hours: Various shifts:WEEK A: Monday: 15:30 to 23:30, Tuesday: 09:30 to 11:30, Saturday: 11:00 to 23:00, Sunday: 11:00 to 23:00 WEEK B: Tuesday: 09:30 to 11:30 + 15:30 to 23:30

  Wednesday: 15:30 to 23:30, Thursday: 15:30 to 23:30, Friday: 15:30 to 00:00

• Salary: €24,433.51 gross/year + night shift and/or weekend bonus.

• Start date: 01/09/2026.

Volem incorporar un/a Educador/a Social al Servei de Primera Acollida i Atenció Integral a joves ubicat a Hospitalet de l'Infant.

Funcions del rol:

• Afavorir les condicions que garanteixin I’acollida de I'infant i l'adolescent en un ambient d'afecte, comprensió i seguretat emocional i material.

• Cobrir les necessitats bàsiques de l'infant i l'adolescent (educació, d'alimentació, afectives, d'higiene, de salut, psicológiques ...) i atendre especialnent les desateses en la seva desprotecció.

• Observar de manera amplia l'infant i l'adolescent en els aspectes emocionals, relacionals, de conducta, d'hàbits, etc. per tal de conéixe'l i comprendre'l i elaborar posteriorment el seu PEI.

• Actuar de forma reflexiva partint de l’observació i del PEI establert, per tal d'aconseguir el desenvolupament integral de l'infant/ l'adolescent.

• Ser l'educador/a social de referencia o tutor/a disposant de la informació necessària sobre l'infant i l'adolescent.

Què necessites?

• Grau en educació social finalitzat.

• Valorable experiència en atenció a joves.

• Disposar de carnet de conduir. 

• Certificat de delictes de naturalesa sexual negatiu.

• Proactivitat, habilitats comunicatives i de treball en equip. 

• Es valorarà estar en possessió del certificat de discapacitat igual o superior al 33%.
