WHAT DO WE DO IN THE TEAM?

In the Check Point unit of Telefónica Tech, implementations and provisioning of all products in the manufacturer's portfolio are executed.

WHAT WILL YOUR DAY-TO-DAY BE LIKE?

Your mission will be to carry out projects for all types of Check Point technology equipment for our clients.

Your day-to-day:

  • Technical implementation of the solution agreed with clients, previously understanding the requirements and needs of our clients.
  • Periodic monitoring and project planning.
  • Project documentation and handover to operations.
  • Review and economic monitoring of the project (RFS, revenue recognition, order review...)
  • Training or knowledge transfer to our clients.
  • Occasional technical support for pre-sales/commercial teams.
  • Escalation to manufacturer
  • Network architecture design or re-architecture
  • Select the appropriate Check Point hardware or firewall solutions for the infrastructure
  • Analyze firewall performance and make adjustments to optimize operation without compromising security
  • Prepare security status reports

Experience

  • More than 4 years in provisioning Check Point products
  • Experience in project management and monitoring
  • Experience analyzing and understanding different network architectures.

Education

Required:

  • Higher vocational training or university degree
  • 3 Check Point Certifications (minimum CCSA and CCSE)

Desirable:

  • Other Check Point certifications
  • Other technologies related to perimeter security (Palo Alto, Fortinet, SonicWall, Sophos...)

Technical Knowledge

  • SDWAN technology
  • Technological migrations between manufacturers
  • Network architecture
  • Routing protocols: BGP, OSFP
  • Cloud knowledge is valued (Amazon, Azure, ...)
  • Authentication systems
  • VPN SSL, IPSec
  • Knowledge of various products in the Check Point portfolio
