Due to increased activity, we are looking for a Packaging & Product Designer, based in Parets del Vallès, Barcelona.

As part of the team, you will be responsible for developing, adapting, and implementing packaging solutions for our products, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and operational objectives.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop packaging solutions for MCS products (SIM, SMD), ensuring compliance with technical, manufacturing, and safety requirements.

  • Coordinate with packaging and printing suppliers on materials, tooling, final artwork, and mock-ups, evaluating technical alternatives.

  • Manage technical documentation (layouts, specifications, drawings) accurately and within deadlines.

  • Create prototypes and samples for customer validation and NPI activities, ensuring technical and manufacturable feasibility.

  • Collaborate on NPI projects, including final artwork development, material selection, and documentation release.

  • Ensure compliance with packaging regulations, security policies, and quality standards throughout all process phases.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Packaging Engineering, or related fields.

  • Previous experience in packaging design within industrial or manufacturing environments.

  • Knowledge of packaging regulations, ISO 9001, and design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).

  • Fluent Spanish and advanced English (technical and communicative).

  • Analytical skills, attention to detail, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Nice to have

  • Experience in regulated industrial environments (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP).

  • Knowledge of prepress, final artwork validation, and printing.

  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (Power BI, Minitab).

  • Experience in NPI project management and working with multidisciplinary teams.
