Product Designer & Prepress

Due to increased activity, we are looking for a Product Designer & Prepress Specialist, based in Parets del Vallès, Barcelona.

As part of the team, you will be responsible for creating, adapting and validating graphic designs and files ready for production of MCS products, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, quality standards and objectives.

• Design and develop final artwork and layouts for MCS products, ensuring compliance with technical, manufacturing and safety requirements.

• Prepare and validate files ready for production, ensuring compliance with printing standards and customer specifications.

• Generate impositions, color separations and CTP files for the preparation of printing plates.

• Manage approval cycles for final artwork, implementing changes and maintaining version traceability.

• Validate color proofs (digital and physical) to ensure consistency with customer expectations.

• Provide technical support to Production and Printing on layouts, separations and deviations.

• Create and maintain technical documentation (artwork records, specifications) for manufacturing and approvals.

• Education in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, Production Engineering or related fields.

• Previous experience in design for manufacturing, prepress or industrial printing.

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), imposition software (e.g., Prinergy) and printing standards (ISO 12647, G7).

• Analytical skills, attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.

• Experience in regulated industrial environments (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP).

• Knowledge of advanced color management (X-Rite, Pantone) and analysis tools (Power BI, Minitab).

• Experience in NPI project management and working with multidisciplinary teams.

• Fluent Spanish and advanced English (technical and communicative).

Debido a un aumento en la actividad, estamos buscando un/a Product Designer & Prepress Specialist, con sede en Parets del Vallès, Barcelona.

Como parte del equipo, serás responsable de crear, adaptar y validar diseños gráficos y archivos listos para producción de productos MCS, garantizando el cumplimiento de los requisitos del cliente, estándares de calidad y objetivos operativos.

• Diseñar y desarrollar arte final y layouts para productos MCS, asegurando cumplimiento con requisitos técnicos, de manufactura y de seguridad.

• Preparar y validar archivos listos para producción, garantizando conformidad con estándares de impresión y especificaciones del cliente.

• Generar imposiciones, separaciones de color y archivos CTP para la preparación de planchas de impresión.

• Gestionar ciclos de aprobación de arte final, implementando cambios y manteniendo trazabilidad de versiones.

• Validar pruebas de color (digitales y físicas) para asegurar consistencia con las expectativas del cliente.

• Proporcionar soporte técnico a Producción e Impresión en temas de layouts, separaciones y desviaciones.

• Crear y mantener documentación técnica (registros de arte final, especificaciones) para manufactura y aprobaciones.

• Formación en Diseño Gráfico, Artes Gráficas, Ingeniería de Producción o áreas afines.

• Experiencia previa en diseño para manufactura, preprensa o impresión industrial.

• Conocimiento de Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), software de imposición (ej. Prinergy) y estándares de impresión (ISO 12647, G7).

• Capacidad analítica, atención al detalle y orientación a la mejora continua.

• Experiencia en entornos industriales regulados (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP).

• Conocimiento en gestión de color avanzado (X-Rite, Pantone) y herramientas de análisis (Power BI, Minitab).

• Experiencia en gestión de proyectos NPI y trabajo con equipos multidisciplinares.

• Nivel fluido de español e inglés avanzado (técnico y comunicativo).
