About the role

Due to increased activity, we are looking for a Product Designer & Prepress Specialist, based in Parets del Vallès, Barcelona.

As part of the team, you will be responsible for creating, adapting and validating graphic designs and files ready for production of MCS products, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, quality standards and objectives.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop final artwork and layouts for MCS products, ensuring compliance with technical, manufacturing and safety requirements.

  • Prepare and validate files ready for production, ensuring compliance with printing standards and customer specifications.

  • Generate impositions, color separations and CTP files for the preparation of printing plates.

  • Manage approval cycles for final artwork, implementing changes and maintaining version traceability.

  • Validate color proofs (digital and physical) to ensure consistency with customer expectations.

  • Provide technical support to Production and Printing on layouts, separations and deviations.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation (artwork records, specifications) for manufacturing and approvals.

What we're looking for

  • Education in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, Production Engineering or related fields.

  • Previous experience in design for manufacturing, prepress or industrial printing.

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), imposition software (e.g., Prinergy) and printing standards (ISO 12647, G7).

  • Analytical skills, attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.

Nice to have

  • Experience in regulated industrial environments (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP).

  • Knowledge of advanced color management (X-Rite, Pantone) and analysis tools (Power BI, Minitab).

  • Experience in NPI project management and working with multidisciplinary teams.
