About the role

At The Whiteam Consulting, we are looking for a Technical Consultant specialized in VMware migrations to participate in strategic projects involving the migration, implementation, configuration, and integration of infrastructures based on VMware technologies. If you have experience in virtualized environments and official certifications, this is your opportunity to join a leading team in technology solutions.

What you'll do

  • Planning, implementation, and migration of VMware infrastructures and associated technologies (networks, servers, storage, communications).

  • Defining migration strategy, phases, risks, and dependencies.

  • Preparing the project roadmap and milestones.

  • Establishing technology standards and best practices.

  • Designing and implementing security measures.

  • Performing unit, load, integration, and acceptance testing.

  • Ensuring high availability and system performance.

  • Managing risks and responding to security incidents.

  • Documenting technical processes for handover to support teams.

  • Collaborating with and providing advanced support to other teams in migrations and incident resolution.

    • Modern Apps (Kubernetes, VMware Tanzu, Openshift, AKS, EKS, GKE)

    • Networking (VMware NSX, Cisco, Aruba, Huawei)

    • Ansible

    • Backup (Dell, Veeam, Commvault)

    • Storage (Dell, HP, IBM, NetApp, Huawei)

    • VDI/MDM (Horizon, Citrix, Workspace One, Intune)

  • Key skills
