At IGNEO Ingeniería, a leading multinational in engineering projects and energy services, we are looking to bring on board a Project Manager to lead high and medium voltage (HV/MV) substation engineering services for i-DE, ensuring technical, contractual, economic, quality, safety and schedule compliance of projects, acting as the main point of contact with the client.

What you'll do

🔧 Responsibilities and Main Duties:

  • Plan and manage all engineering phases of HV/MV substations, including basic engineering, detailed engineering and as-built documentation.

  • Prepare schedules, define project milestones and ensure compliance with deadlines and deliverables.

  • Review, validate and approve the technical documentation generated during project development.

  • Coordinate interoperability and document management using BIM methodology and ProjectWise where applicable.

  • Oversee administrative and technical procedures with competent bodies and distribution companies.

  • Control project budgets, certifications, costs and profitability.

  • Prepare periodic technical and economic follow-up reports.

  • Coordinate kick-off, follow-up and closing meetings with i-DE, subcontractors, technical management and supervision teams.

  • Implement and oversee the quality, safety and environmental procedures required by the client.

  • Lead, coordinate and develop the technical team assigned to the project.

  • Manage technical, contractual and operational risks associated with each project.

Requirements

What we're looking for

Qualification: Industrial Engineering or Electrical Technical Engineering.

  • Professional accreditation for signing off projects and site management on HV/MV installations.

  • Training in BIM methodology.

  • Training in Occupational Risk Prevention (minimum 60 hours, AELEC standard).

Proven experience in:

  • Planning and management of basic and detailed engineering, as-built documentation and administrative procedures.

  • Coordination of technical management, site supervision and basic testing follow-up.

  • Project economic management: budgets, certifications, margins and variance analysis.

  • Document management using ProjectWise and BIM environments.

  • Direct relationship with the i-DE client and its territorial units.

  • Participation in project kick-off, follow-up and closing meetings.

  • Previous experience on projects for Iberdrola/i-DE (essential).

  • Knowledge of RAT, REBT and ITC-LAT.

  • Knowledge of i-DE NI/INS, MT and MO standards.

  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, ProjectWise, MS Project and Office 365.

  • Experience in resource planning, economic control and risk management.
