SAP Area Coordinator

At Unisys, we are looking to bring on board an SAP Area Coordinator to be part of an important application development and maintenance service for a Public Sector client.

The selected person will be responsible for coordinating the SAP area within a multidisciplinary technology environment, ensuring the proper execution of activities, service quality, and the continuous evolution of SAP solutions.

We are looking for someone with experience in SAP environments, team coordination and leadership skills, customer orientation, and the ability to collaborate with different technology areas. They will play a key role in the operational management of the SAP area, as well as in identifying and coordinating improvement and transformation initiatives related to the platform.

What will your mission be?

As an SAP Area Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the functional and technical activities related to SAP within an application development and maintenance service.

You will work closely with the overall service manager, business users, technical leads, and functional consultants to ensure the stability of SAP solutions, compliance with agreed service levels, and the proper execution of the area's activities.

Your mission will be to ensure the proper management of the SAP scope, facilitating collaboration between teams and promoting continuous improvement initiatives that bring value to the client.

• Coordinate the SAP area within an application development and maintenance service.
• Lead and coordinate a team of SAP professionals, made up of functional and technical consultants.
• Ensure compliance with the SLAs, KPIs, and commitments associated with the SAP scope.
• Oversee the management of incidents, corrective and adaptive maintenance, and change requests.
• Coordinate the prioritization and planning of activities together with key users and technical leads.
• Act as the SAP area point of reference for the client and the different stakeholders involved.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, optimization, and innovation within the SAP environment.
• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, Systems, and other technology teams to ensure an integrated service.
• Participate in SAP-related modernization and technology transformation initiatives, including future evolution projects toward SAP S/4HANA.
• Prepare follow-up reports and present management and service indicators associated with the SAP area.

Essential requirements

• More than 5 years of experience working in SAP environments.
• Experience coordinating SAP teams or managing SAP functional areas.
• Experience in support services, corrective and adaptive maintenance (AMS).
• General knowledge of the SAP ecosystem and the associated business processes.
• Ability to coordinate functional and technical activities.
• Experience dealing with clients and business users.
• Leadership, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer orientation skills.
• Ability to work in complex, multidisciplinary environments.

It will be a plus if you also have...

• Experience working with Public Sector clients.
• Participation in migration or transformation projects toward SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience in one of the main SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, HCM, BW, SuccessFactors, or others).
• Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• SAP certifications.
• Certifications related to service or project management (ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar).
• Advanced level of English.

En Unisys buscamos incorporar un/a Coordinador/a del Área SAP para formar parte de un importante servicio de desarrollo y mantenimiento de aplicaciones para un cliente del Sector Público.

La persona seleccionada será responsable de coordinar el área SAP dentro de un entorno tecnológico multidisciplinar, asegurando la correcta ejecución de las actividades, la calidad del servicio y la evolución continua de las soluciones SAP.

Buscamos una persona con experiencia en entornos SAP, capacidad de coordinación y liderazgo de equipos, orientación al cliente y capacidad para colaborar con diferentes áreas tecnológicas. Tendrá un papel clave en la gestión operativa del área SAP, así como en la identificación y coordinación de iniciativas de mejora y transformación relacionadas con la plataforma.

¿Cuál será tu misión?

Como Coordinador/a del Área SAP, serás responsable de coordinar las actividades funcionales y técnicas relacionadas con SAP dentro de un servicio de desarrollo y mantenimiento de aplicaciones.

Trabajarás estrechamente con el responsable global del servicio, usuarios de negocio, responsables técnicos y consultores funcionales para garantizar la estabilidad de las soluciones SAP, el cumplimiento de los niveles de servicio acordados y la correcta ejecución de las actividades del área.

Tu misión será asegurar la correcta gestión del ámbito SAP, facilitando la colaboración entre equipos y promoviendo iniciativas de mejora continua que aporten valor al cliente.

• Coordinar el área SAP dentro de un servicio de desarrollo y mantenimiento de aplicaciones.
• Liderar y coordinar un equipo de profesionales SAP, compuesto por consultores funcionales y técnicos.
• Garantizar el cumplimiento de los SLA, KPIs y compromisos asociados al ámbito SAP.
• Supervisar la gestión de incidencias, mantenimientos correctivos, evolutivos y solicitudes de cambio.
• Coordinar la priorización y planificación de actividades junto con usuarios clave y responsables técnicos.
• Actuar como referente del área SAP ante el cliente y los distintos stakeholders involucrados.
• Identificar oportunidades de mejora continua, optimización e innovación dentro del entorno SAP.
• Colaborar con equipos de Desarrollo, Infraestructura, Sistemas y otras áreas tecnológicas para asegurar un servicio integrado.
• Participar en iniciativas de modernización y transformación tecnológica relacionadas con SAP, incluyendo futuros proyectos de evolución hacia SAP S/4HANA.
• Elaborar informes de seguimiento y presentar indicadores de gestión y servicio asociados al área SAP.

• Más de 5 años de experiencia trabajando en entornos SAP.
• Experiencia en coordinación de equipos SAP o gestión de ámbitos funcionales SAP.
• Experiencia en servicios de soporte, mantenimiento correctivo y evolutivo (AMS).
• Conocimiento general del ecosistema SAP y de los procesos empresariales asociados.
• Capacidad para coordinar actividades funcionales y técnicas.
• Experiencia en relación con clientes y usuarios de negocio.

• Excelentes capacidades de comunicación, negociación y orientación al cliente.
• Capacidad para desenvolverse en entornos complejos y multidisciplinares.

• Experiencia trabajando con clientes del Sector Público.
• Participación en proyectos de migración o transformación hacia SAP S/4HANA.
• Experiencia en alguno de los principales módulos SAP (FI, CO, MM, SD, HCM, BW, SuccessFactors u otros).
• Conocimientos de SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Certificaciones SAP.
• Certificaciones relacionadas con gestión de servicios o proyectos (ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile o similares).
