SME Risks Subscription Internship

We are looking for someone eager to learn and grow within the USM PYMES EXPRESS Subscription team. You will take part in the analysis and subscription of simple business risks in property and liability lines, always accompanied and under the supervision of the subscription team.

During your scholarship you will be able to:

• Collaborate in risk analysis and subscription, following The Zurich Way of Underwriting framework.
• Learn to calculate prices using Underwriting tools.
• Take part in exposure analysis and risk assessment.
• Provide support in preparing quotes and defining coverages.
• Collaborate in transaction management and in assisting agents and brokers.
• Help resolve technical queries, relying on internal policies and procedures.
• Develop professional relationships with internal teams, offering close, quality service.

• You have an interest in liability and property insurance, even at a basic or academic level.
• You enjoy working as part of a team and interacting with people from different areas.
• You are a proactive, organized person with a desire to contribute ideas.
• You are motivated to learn, take on new challenges, and grow professionally.
• You have strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• A good level of English will ensure your success in relationships with colleagues.
• You must be able to sign a collaboration agreement with a University and/or Business School for a minimum of 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

• It is a paid internship of €800.

• Part-time schedule (5h/day from Monday to Friday).
• The position will be based at our Barcelona offices... although we'd like to mention that we have an 80% remote work policy!
