Requirements

What we're looking for

We are looking for a person with a positive attitude, a desire to learn and who has the following skills and experiences.

Experience in workflow and process optimisation, preferably in the Finance area.
Minimum 3 years of experience in process design, coding and testing.
Programming experience in Python, SQL.
Experience in VBS and Power Query for automation and data analysis.
Advanced level of English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

Experience in PowerShell, C++ and .NET is a plus.
Knowledge of Workflow and Database Management tools (Microsoft SQL Server) is a plus.
Organisation, planning and prioritisation of work, with autonomy, flexibility and a focus on continuous improvement.
Commitment to the organisation and a strong sense of responsibility, with rigour in daily performance.
Communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Customer orientation and problem-solving ability in operational and regulated environments.
High concentration capacity and attention to detail, especially when performing repetitive tasks.
Interest in the digitalisation and automation of processes, including the use of new technologies and Artificial Intelligence.

The role

At Sabadell Zurich you will be part of the Life Actuary team, where your main goal will be to manage the reporting tool for IFRS17 actuals.

Your contribution will be key to processing the closing of IFRS17 actuals, interacting directly with the Finance teams.

In addition, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of the automation processes of the actuarial department.

What you'll do

To this end, your main duties will be:

Manage reporting and storage of IFRS17 actuals data.
Interaction and coordination between finance teams and technical teams to apply and validate the necessary changes.
Identify manual actuarial processes that are candidates for automation.
Technical development, UAT and process documentation using automation tools.
Training actuarial teams on the tools and processes implemented.
