Farm Worker (Maceda)

The duties of the role include:

- Supervising and monitoring the general condition of the poultry houses, ensuring optimal conditions for the animals.

- Feeding the birds according to established guidelines, maintaining a focus on their welfare.

- Carrying out regular inspections to detect any anomalies or maintenance needs in the facilities.

- Performing cleaning and disinfection tasks in assigned areas, ensuring a hygienic and safe environment.

- Collaborating with the team to meet the quality and safety standards established by the company.

To perform this role, the following is required:

- A type B driving licence, with availability of your own vehicle to travel to the workplace.

- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.

- Commitment to animal welfare and sustainability.

- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and availability to cover weekend shifts on an alternating basis.

- Ability to carry out physical and manual tasks related to animal handling and facility maintenance.

- Previous experience in similar work or in the agricultural or livestock sector is desirable, although not essential.

Entre las funciones del puesto se incluyen,

-Supervisar y controlar el estado general de las naves, asegurando que las condiciones sean óptimas para los animales.

-Alimentar a las aves de acuerdo con las pautas establecidas, manteniendo un enfoque en su bienestar.

-Realizar inspecciones regulares para detectar cualquier anomalía o necesidad de mantenimiento en las instalaciones.

-Llevar a cabo tareas de limpieza y desinfección de las áreas asignadas, garantizando un entorno higiénico y seguro.

-Colaborar con el equipo para cumplir con los estándares de calidad y seguridad establecidos por la empresa.

Para desempeñar este puesto, se requiere,

-Carnet de conducir tipo B, con disponibilidad de vehículo propio para desplazarse al lugar de trabajo.

-Actitud proactiva y capacidad para trabajar de manera autónoma.

-Compromiso con el bienestar animal y la sostenibilidad.

-Flexibilidad para trabajar en horarios rotativos y disponibilidad para cubrir turnos de fin de semana de manera alterna.

-Habilidad para realizar tareas físicas y manuales relacionadas con el manejo de animales y mantenimiento de instalaciones.

-Deseable, aunque no imprescindible, experiencia previa en trabajos similares o en el sector agrícola o ganadero.
