What will your role be? Your main mission will be to ensure the successful implementation of Moeve's agro feedstock origination projects. To achieve this, you will play a fundamental and cross-functional role, taking on the technical, commercial, and strategic responsibilities required for the success of each initiative. Additionally, you will act as the company's main reference, contributing your strong agronomic expertise to guide both commercial design and daily operations, working proactively to originate new projects that guarantee long-term supply.
Monitor and protect Moeve's interests in agro feedstock development projects.
Originate agro projects that ensure supply for the company.
Analyze business plans and perform the necessary sensitivity analyses to evaluate profitability and maximize value.
Provide direct support in negotiating the commercial and contractual structure for project implementation.
Closely monitor the progress of each project, unlocking key decisions for its advancement and constantly evaluating its economic impact.
Provide the necessary agronomic advisory to shape the company's operations.
Prepare the required documentation and support communication and project information in various forums, both internal and external.
Education: Degree in Agricultural Engineering or equivalent qualification.
At least 8 years of experience in the agro-industrial sector, preferably in leading companies (such as ADM, Bunge, Cargill, LDC, etc.).
Experience in developing and executing agricultural projects, structuring supply chains, agricultural contracting, and direct relationships with farmers.
Fluent level of English and Spanish
Strong command of agronomy for extensive crops and deep knowledge of the agro value chain (origination, logistics, crushing, and commercialization).
Strong analytical skills, a hands-on approach, and excellent ability to influence within shared governance environments or Joint Ventures.
Additional education focused on business or finance is a plus.
Knowledge of regulations and sustainability applicable to the sector (ISCC certifications, RED III, etc.).
Specific experience and knowledge in oilseed or cover crop cultivation.
