About the role

Would you like to join an industrial company with more than 50 years of experience, specialized in plastic extrusion and the manufacture of plastic film rolls for various sectors?

We are looking to bring on a Quality Technician for a production plant located in Sant Pere Sallavinera, within a consolidated industrial environment, technical in nature and focused on continuous improvement.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Quality area and in coordination with Production, you will be responsible for:

  • Raw material control according to Quality Control guidelines (film inspection and flake inspection).
  • Blocking non-conforming raw materials for production.
  • Quality control of in-process and finished product, carrying out measurements, verifications and records according to the technical procedures and instructions of the quality system.
  • Management of the storage and preservation of reference samples.
  • Analysis of: - External samples from the Commercial area.
  • Samples with quality issues.
  • Samples from new product developments.
  • Test rolls.
  • Verification of the correct operation of in-line inspection equipment.
  • In-line control of the destination of manufactured rolls, verifying their correct classification (conforming product, non-conforming product or waste) and analyzing the origin of possible deviations.
  • Carrying out the transfer of information between shifts, exchanging information with the incoming and outgoing operator, and preparing a brief report by email with a copy to Plant Management, Quality Manager and Supervisors.
  • Strict compliance with Quality, Hygiene, Environment and Occupational Safety regulations, as well as the company's internal regulations.
