About the role

We are currently looking to hire a Junior CAD Technician for our Europe Enterprise Capabilities office, located in Madrid, Spain. This position offers a hybrid and flexible working model, combining on-site and remote work.

As a Junior CAD Technician, you will join our growing and experienced Hydraulics and Drainage team, participating in a wide variety of projects related to drainage networks, water supply, and sanitation, as well as hydraulic modeling and flood studies. The team develops studies, conceptual designs, feasibility analyses, and basic and detailed designs for projects of varying complexity.

We have a solid track record in developing civil engineering projects internationally, collaborating on highly relevant initiatives across the United States, Australia, Canada, and the Middle East.

  • Carry out reviews of the deliverables, with a special focus on quality control of the drawings produced, following the project's quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures.
  • Carry out assigned responsibilities with limited supervision and with the support of the technical team.

What we're looking for

  • Professional training, technical degree, or equivalent qualification in Drafting, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), or related disciplines, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and ability to adapt to dynamic environments with demanding deadlines and diverse leadership styles.
  • Experience or certification in CAD tools will be valued, especially AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads Designer.
