About the role

We are currently looking to bring in a BIM Modeler to join our Bridges and Structures department within Enterprise Capabilities. At AECOM, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of international infrastructure projects in a global environment.

You will work on projects that include bridges, viaducts, earth retention structures, tunnels built using cut-and-cover methods, underground structures, drainage works (culverts), and building structures. This role is aimed at professionals with experience in BIM modeling who want to further develop their knowledge of structural modeling, working across different project stages, from initial concept through to detailed design.

Our team has a solid track record in delivering bridge engineering projects across the United States, Australia, Canada, and the Middle East. You will collaborate with a diverse, multicultural team, contributing to the success of major transportation infrastructure projects.

What you'll do

  • Develop BIM models for transportation infrastructure projects (bridges, viaducts, tunnels, buildings, etc.), with a level of development ranging from LOD 200 to LOD 350.
  • Ensure that models meet the standards and requirements defined in the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
  • Create and develop BIM content for the Bridges and Structures discipline.
  • Produce graphical documentation and drawings, including reinforcement details and structural steel drawings.
  • Support quality reviews of models in accordance with QA/QC procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams located across different offices.
  • Work autonomously within a structured and collaborative working environment.

How you'll work

You will have the flexibility you need to do your best work with hybrid work options. Whether you're working from an AECOM office, remote location, or at a client site, you will be working in a dynamic environment where your integrity, entrepreneurial spirit, and pioneering mindset are fostered.
