Job description:
We are looking for a Senior QA Manager with experience in software testing to lead our quality assurance team in Madrid. This role will be key to designing testing strategies, overseeing the execution of manual and automated tests, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. You will work closely with developers, support, the CTO, product managers, and other teams to optimize our QA processes.

• Design and execute testing strategies for our solution, including SaaS applications and agents on operating systems such as Windows 10 and Windows Server.

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, promoting best practices in testing.

• Create and manage test plans, test cases, and scripts using tools such as TestRail.

• Oversee defect tracking and incident management using Jira.

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements coverage and bug resolution.

• Implement and maintain automated testing processes where applicable.

• Ensure quality in complex environments such as Active Directory, File Servers, and NAS.

• Drive continuous improvement of QA workflows and contribute to a quality culture within the company.

• More than 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (QA Lead or similar).

• Proficiency in test management tools such as TestRail and issue tracking tools such as Jira.

• Experience in software testing.

• Experience in automation with Playwright.

• Practical knowledge of IT services such as Active Directory, File Servers, NAS, and VM management.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD processes.

• Ability to design and execute manual and automated tests (experience with tools such as Playwright is a plus).

• Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Previous experience in the data security sector.

• Knowledge of test automation and languages such as Playwright/TypeScript.

• QA certifications (ISTQB, etc.).

Estamos buscando un Senior QA Manager con experiencia en pruebas de software para liderar nuestro equipo de control de calidad en Madrid. Este rol será clave para diseñar estrategias de testing, supervisar la ejecución de pruebas manuales y automatizadas, y garantizar la entrega de software de alta calidad. Trabajarás en estrecha colaboración con desarrolladores, soporte, CTO, product managers y otros equipos para optimizar nuestros procesos de QA.

• Diseñar y ejecutar estrategias de pruebas para nuestra solucion, incluyendo aplicaciones SaaS y agentes en sistemas operativos como Windows 10 y Windows Server.

• Liderar y mentorizar a un equipo de ingenieros QA, promoviendo las mejores prácticas en testing.

• Crear y gestionar planes de prueba, casos de prueba y scripts en herramientas como TestRail.

• Supervisar el seguimiento de defectos y la gestión de incidencias utilizando Jira.

• Colaborar con equipos de desarrollo para garantizar la cobertura de requisitos y la resolución de bugs.

• Implementar y mantener procesos de pruebas automatizadas cuando sea aplicable.

• Asegurar la calidad en entornos complejos como Active Directory, File Servers y NAS.

• Participar en la mejora continua de los flujos de trabajo de QA y contribuir a la cultura de calidad en la empresa.

• Más de 5 años de experiencia en pruebas de software, con al menos 2 años en un rol de liderazgo (QA Lead o similar).

• Dominio de herramientas de gestión de pruebas como TestRail y seguimiento de incidencias como Jira.

• Experiencia en testing de software.

• Esperiencia en automatizacion con playwright.

• Conocimiento práctico de servicios IT como Active Directory, File Servers, NAS y gestión de VMs

• Familiaridad con metodologías Agile/Scrum y procesos CI/CD.

• Habilidad para diseñar y ejecutar pruebas manuales y automatizadas (experiencia con herramientas como Playwright es un plus).

• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación en español e inglés.

• Grado en Informática, Ingeniería o campo relacionado (o experiencia equivalente).

• Experiencia previa en el sector de seguridad de datos.

• Conocimiento de automatización de pruebas y lenguajes como Playwright/typescript.

• Certificaciones en QA o testing (ISTQB, etc.).
