MISSION As a Business Data Modeler, you will join the Operational Data Models and Management team (Clients & Data), carrying out data analysis and design tasks that ensure the consistency, reliability, and accessibility of information across the entire organization. You will facilitate the efficient and effective use of data as a strategic asset for decision-making and value generation. To do so, a holistic and cross-functional view of data will be essential, as well as the ability to communicate, collaborate, and influence the different stakeholders involved. MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate and facilitate communication and consensus between business areas and technical teams to define and validate data solutions aligned with business needs. Collaborate with business area managers and users to identify their needs and manage their expectations regarding data. Define the conceptual and logical models of data domains, identifying entities, attributes, and relationships, and establishing the business rules that govern them (visibility, modification, prevalence, aging...). Ensure that data solutions align with the strategic vision, organizational objectives, and legal and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with data governance, engineering, and science teams to ensure robust solutions that meet business needs. Work with the data architecture team to understand, leverage, and utilize the organization's data architecture components, identifying additional needs within the ecosystem. Collaborate with IT systems analysts to understand in detail the data flows and integrations between systems, designing joint solutions. Evaluate the impact and value of data solutions in projects and use cases, providing recommendations and technical advice. Establish control and monitoring mechanisms to ensure compliance with data management standards and policies. Propose improvements and innovations in data management, based on trends, best practices, and new technologies. PROFILE Education: Degree in engineering, actuarial and financial sciences, mathematics, statistics, or other related fields. Experience: Minimum 5 years in data management and analysis initiatives in the insurance sector (implementation of analytical solutions, actuarial consulting, data analysis). Knowledge: Knowledge of the main data domains in an insurance organization. Knowledge and application of data modeling methodologies and standards (e.g., ACORD, UML), in master data management (MDM) or creation of single sources of truth (SSOT). Experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data (relational databases, JSON, XML, etc.). Skills in project management (PMP, agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban). Desirable knowledge of data-related regulations (GDPR). Valuable experience in BI tools, especially Microsoft Power BI. Valuable knowledge in data processing and transformation with Python or Scala. Languages: Fluent spoken and written English. Skills: Critical thinking, autonomy, and ability to work in a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
