About the role

As a Quality Operator, you will be an essential part of our plant team in Llinars del Vallès - Av. del Mogent, 244 - 08450 Llinars del Vallès (Barcelona), reporting to the Shift Supervisor. You will contribute to Ball's success by ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality operation of the assigned production line, complying with established technical, quality, and safety standards.

Job description - verify and ensure product quality and process safety during all manufacturing phases, applying the procedures defined in the quality management system and complying with safety and environmental regulations.

What you'll do

  • Performing quality and product safety checks at the different stages of the process.
  • Executing laboratory tests and evaluating product conformity according to specifications.
  • Holding and identifying non-conforming products and proposing corrective actions.
  • Advising production staff on technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Organizing and maintaining the file of control and traceability records.
  • Participating in the selection and verification tasks of held material.
  • Applying and monitoring the established control plans.
  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene, food safety, and good practice standards.
  • Properly using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and reporting any deviation in safety or the environment.
  • Actively collaborating in the continuous improvement of the quality system.

What you'll get

Work Environment: This role requires on-site presence at our Llinars plant.
Hiring Range: 36,000 - 48,000 Euro gross per year. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market benchmarks. Depending on these factors, the actual offer may fall above or below the posted range.
Incentive Plan: This position is eligible to participate in Ball's annual incentive compensation program.

How you'll work

Currently, the plant operates with a 4-shift system with 12-hour shifts. During the interview, they will show you the work sequences, which involve working 3 or 4 days a week, and they will also show you the vacation periods. However, it is very important that you keep in mind that you will have to work two weekends per month and also 50% of the time on the night shift (18:00 - 06:00).

We would also like to inform you that we intend to transition to a 5-shift system with mainly 8-hour shifts over the next year.
