Quality Specialist

As a Quality Operator, you will be an essential part of our plant team in Llinars del Vallès - Av. del Mogent, 244 - 08450 Llinars del Vallès (Barcelona), reporting to the Shift Supervisor. You will contribute to Ball's success by ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality operation of the assigned production line, complying with established technical, quality, and safety standards.

Job description - verify and ensure product quality and process safety during all manufacturing phases, applying the procedures defined in the quality management system and complying with safety and environmental regulations.

• Performing quality and product safety checks at the different stages of the process.
• Executing laboratory tests and evaluating product conformity according to specifications.
• Holding and identifying non-conforming products and proposing corrective actions.
• Advising production staff on technical specifications and quality standards.
• Organizing and maintaining the file of control and traceability records.
• Participating in the selection and verification tasks of held material.
• Applying and monitoring the established control plans.
• Ensuring compliance with hygiene, food safety, and good practice standards.
• Properly using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and reporting any deviation in safety or the environment.
• Actively collaborating in the continuous improvement of the quality system.

Work Environment: This role requires on-site presence at our Llinars plant.
Hiring Range: 36,000 - 48,000 Euro gross per year. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market benchmarks. Depending on these factors, the actual offer may fall above or below the posted range.
Incentive Plan: This position is eligible to participate in Ball's annual incentive compensation program.

Currently, the plant operates with a 4-shift system with 12-hour shifts. During the interview, they will show you the work sequences, which involve working 3 or 4 days a week, and they will also show you the vacation periods. However, it is very important that you keep in mind that you will have to work two weekends per month and also 50% of the time on the night shift (18:00 - 06:00).

We would also like to inform you that we intend to transition to a 5-shift system with mainly 8-hour shifts over the next year.

Como Operador/a de Calidad, serás una parte esencial del equipo de nuesta planta en Llinars del Vallès - Av. del Mogent, 244 - 08450 Llinars del Vallès (Barcelona), reportando al/la Jefe/a de Turno. Contribuirás al éxito de Ball asegurando el funcionamiento eficiente, seguro y de calidad de la línea de producción asignada, cumpliendo con los estándares técnicos,de calidad y de seguridad establecidos.

Descripción del puesto - verificar y asegurar la calidad del proceso y la seguridad del producto durante todas las fases de fabricación, aplicando los procedimientos definidos en el sistema de gestión de calidad y cumpliendo con las normativas de seguridad y medioambiente.

• Realizar controles de calidad y seguridad del producto en las distintas etapas del proceso.
• Ejecutar pruebas en laboratorio y evaluar conformidad del producto según especificaciones.
• Retener e identificar productos no conformes y proponer acciones correctoras.
• Asesorar al personal de producción sobre especificaciones técnicas y estándares de calidad.
• Organizar y mantener el archivo de registros de control y trazabilidad.
• Participar en tareas de selección y verificación de material retenido.
• Aplicar y hacer seguimiento de los planes de control establecidos.
• Velar por el cumplimiento de normas de higiene, seguridad alimentaria y buenas prácticas.
• Utilizar correctamente los EPIs y reportar cualquier desviación en seguridad o medioambiente.
• Colaborar activamente en la mejora continua del sistema de calidad.

Actualmente la planta de producción trabaja con un sistema de 4º turno en jornadas de 12 horas. Durante la entrevista te mostrarán cuales son las secuencias de trabajo, en las que se trabaja 3 o 4 días a la semana y también te mostrarán los periodos de vacaciones. Pero es muy importante que tengas presente que deberás trabajar dos fines de semana al mes y también el 50% del tiempo en turno de noche (18:00 - 06:00).

También te queremos informar que tenemos la intención de pasar durante el próximo año a un sistema de 5º turno con jornadas principalmente de 8 horas.
