Fleet Mechanic

If you have automotive training, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude, we want to meet you!

• Intermediate or advanced vocational training in Automotive (CFGM or CFGS)

• Extensive experience is not required: we value internships or initial experience

• Interest in mechanics, maintenance, and fleet management

• Valid B driving license

• Basic Excel skills

• Basic English

• We value being comfortable with contact with external workshops and the review of budgets, as well as with infleet and defleet processes (although previous experience is not necessary);

• Permanent contract.

• Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Salary of €22,678 gross per year + monthly incentives.

At Avis Budget Group, a leading international mobility company, we are looking for a Junior Fleet Mechanic to manage our vehicle fleet in Barcelona (Mas Blau).

You will be part of a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement, ensuring our fleet is always ready to provide the best service to our customers.

You will work hand in hand with the team in a very comprehensive role, combining a technical part (70%) and management/coordination (30%):

🔧 Technical part

• Inspect the condition of vehicles

• Detect breakdowns or mechanical issues

• Perform diagnostics

• Assess whether a vehicle requires repair

🛠️ Coordination

• Contact and manage workshops

• Follow up on repairs

• Optimize vehicle downtime

📊 Management

• Monitor which vehicles are available or out of service (OOS)

• Record maintenance, costs, and fleet status

• Support vehicle registrations, deregistrations, and rotation
